Musical composition for Motion Pictures- Masterclass by Habib Shehadeh Hanna
About the workshop :
A masterclass presenting the works of Habib Shehadeh Hanna. Habib will show pieces from filmography that he has worked on and give a casual talk about his experiences as a motion picture composter. In addition, he will accompany his presentation with his Oud to explain the connection between picture and music. A class about storytelling through music and the expression of sound and picture.
About Habib Shehadeh Hanna :
Habib was born in Rami village in the Galilee and currently resides in Haifa. He completed his musical studies in Jerusalem in 2001.
Habib went onto collaborate in several festivals around the world as a presenter of Palestinian culture and music. Moreover, he established the “Itar” institution in Ramle and Lod.
Currently, he lectures at Al Najah University in Nablus. Habib has formed partnerships with several Palestinian singers such as Reem Telhami, Dalal Abu Amneh, Muhammad Assaf and many others. Today he composes music for the Lebanese singer, Omaima Khalil and Algerian artist, Soad el Massi. Furthermore, Habib is the manager of Al Mashghal, the Arab Institution of Culture and Arts in Haifa. He also composed music for several films and theatre productions.
